"The property was beautiful and picturesque. Breakfast was good. The villa was spotless and very comfortable. Downside was the villa was right by a tennis court of some sort and they were having a game and were noisy late at night as we were trying to sleep. That was only the first night and the next few nights was better."

"We love our stay here. The apartement is clean, big enough and new. The view is great as directly toward Batam center port. Within walk distance to get McD, kfc, JCO, etc. They prepare the bed, towel and shower stuff to accomodate all 6 of us.The bed is quite comfy. Overall, we would stay here again."

"Bathroom ( 2) very bad, old and need renovation. No kitchen tools since this one was an apartment with kitchen, if you make food you need to yse your hand. Furniture, sofa, old and in very bad condition. Not recomanded"

Caught off fuard that we need to call first to receive inatruction. Security at the reception totally lost and bot ablw to help. To avoid hassle, contact the owner before checking in. "Loved my stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Batam. The staff spoke fluent English and were generally polite. Chose this hotel cos it offers suite rooms that have microwave which is convenient to heat up leftover food. Appreciate the fact that the hotel also provides water dispensers available on every floor for guests. Especially loved that it is also linked to the Grand Mall Batam for easy shopping and eating. "

"Arrived and only option was bbq for dinner. Very limited vegetarian options for lunch/dinner. Hotel is very peaceful and all staff extremely helpful. Everyone spoke english and excursions easily arranged. There is no currency exchange available at hotel and closest option is the ferry port by taxi. Over all a very peaceful relaxing week. Would definitely book again."
