This is a lovely property in an incredible setting. It has its own white rhinos that come right up to the water hole just by the (rather cold!) pool (maybe cover the pool at night??). We were gob-smacked by this. The chalets are beautifully appointed and are huge with outdoor showers and a terrace overlooking the reserve. Some are a bit of a distance from the lodge so you may have to drive over. Breakfast is good and we were supplied with a good packed lunch. The staff are very attentive but the...

The rooms were modern and clean, the view was excellent, and it was close to the beach and town. Secure parking, lovely staff, good breakfast. Some of the details in the room needed finessing, e.g air conditioning was not connected, had to search for the right switches to make the light and fan work, etc. But overall recommended!

Amazing location and lovely staff. Rooms a little dated but don’t let that put you off.
We had a fabulous 3 nights at the property. Saw lions, elephant, giraffe, cheetahs, rhino and many more with our superb guide.
Staff couldn’t have done more for us and were so friendly.
Beautiful location and very respectful of animals in the park

This is a lovely spot with fabulous views over the Erongo mountains. The water hole below the lodge attracted quite a bit of wildlife, including giraffes and kudus which made lovely viewing over dinner. Room was lovely with delightful patio. Food and service were excellent.
My only criticism was the lack of air conditioning. Although we had every window open (they have insect nets) and the fan going all night, it was still a bit warm.

A two night stay in at Namib Guest House. Good location, friendly welcome, assistance during our stay, and comfortable room meant that this b & b was perfect.

This is a stand-out property in the most stunning location. The staff, food and rooms are excellent. Everything is spotless. Pay a small supplement to eat up at the top of the cliff at Eagle’s Nest restaurant. It’s worth the climb! The only downside is that the pool is a bit cold.

Unpretentious and secluded this is a relaxing place to stay.
The staff are absolutely top class, helpful, friendly, efficient and very hard working, they made it a joy to stay there.

Great lodge and food. Provides privacy after a very busy few weeks travelling around. You have your own plunge pool. Would definitely recommend. Buffet dinner is done extremely well.

Great location obviously sitting right on the rim. Good food and wide selection of drinks. Good service. Strange you don’t get a Wi-Fi voucher for each night stay as we ran out on final night of our 2 nights. Appreciate you can buy more access but really for a hotel of this standard you should get one voucher per night. Trip into canyon worth doing, whilst it’s a full day and on some bumpy roads, to be able to get to swim and lunch near the bottom was a special experience.

Perfect spot for a couple of days in Swakop. Everything is still brand new. Great shower, bed. All the amenities. Great location close to sea and main roads. Very friendly staff. And good value.

An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. The rooms are well designed and equipped. The main building hosts an excellent restaurant, with exceptionally good food and service. There is a view across to the Vingerklip rock formation from here. The swimming pool is nestled amongst the rocks.

Wonderful in every way. Our tented room was very well appointed, with the opportunity to self cater. However, we were delighted to have breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant as the food was superb. Celine ensured that we were very well looked after and that we had ample opportunity to interact with wildlife. She told us a great deal about the giraffes and oryx. The pool area was very comfortable. We relaxed happily at the Game Camp after our driving tour. We recommend highly.

This was our second visit to Eagles Nest and this time we stayed at Eagles View Cabin. Eagles view was even better than our last cabin with an amazing view. We were surprised to find the desert in bloom with wild flowers everywhere - really beautiful.
The cabin whilst rustic and a little chilly at night has everything you need for a self catering break and was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t bother to drive to the lodge as we stocked up with supplies and spent our time exploring the...

We were there in February (Namibian summer) so it was hot in the tent during the day, and the huge water-filled cooling thingy (don't know what it's called) didn't help at all, if anything it made the tent hotter not to mention the noise it made. We decided to just open the windows and through in the warm breeze. It was better once the sun had gone down. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff were nice and friendly and we enjoyed the sundowner game drive.

We stayed here for one night. We had a lovely time there. The setting is an old bakery and this makes for a very interesting and unusual hotel where they have incorporated aspects of the old bakery. Having said that the amenities were excellent with very comfortable, clean and lovely rooms in individual bungalows. Breakfast and the evening meal were also excellent. Like many lodges in Namibia it is very isolated although it was easy to find. We also used the swimming pool which was great.
