"We ended 12 days in Sri Lanka here and it was easily the best-equipped hotel of the whole trip. The 53-metre rooftop infinity pool on the tenth floor is the standout: ocean on one side, city skyline on the other, and spectacular sunsets over the sea. Come up in the late afternoon.
The room was excellent — very comfortable king bed, a bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and a huge TV. Everything felt new and well maintained, and despite the city-centre setting on Marine Drive, noise was not a problem.
Several restaurants and bars on site meant plenty of choice without leaving the building, and the food was good across the board. Very good value too for this standard of hotel.
A perfect last stop before flying home, and it would work just as well at the start of a trip."
