"The property was set just about 2mins from the main highway, making it very quiet. We loved that we couldn't hear any vehicles at all. The property was filled with lots of trees and we could hear and see peacocks many times during the day freely roaming around. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We liked the breakfast very much. The staff was very courteous as well. The room was very spacious and clean as well, and had everything we needed. Overall, very happy with this property. Strongly recommend it."

Perfect location to walk to Lion Rock and Pidurangula. Just a short TukTuk ride to Dambulla. It was so nice to be able to go for a swim and sit around the pool after hiking. "Lovely hotel in great surrounding. Fab infinity pool for Insta worthy pics. The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. The pool boys at the infinity pool were fabulous in helping us take photographs that captured the beauty of the area. The room was lovely and we had a fantastic view of Sigiriya and a jacuzzi with an outside view. Great base for exploring Sigiriya and the Eco elephant safari."

"The chef was outstanding, Nalin had 28 years experience and presented us with meals of a high standard with great service. They were in the process of renovating but this did not deminish our experience. All the staff were friendly and the meals were inexpensive. We wish the new owner and staff great success as their attitude and attention to guest requests warrants reward."
