Yes, the receptionist was a bit surprised when I pointed at a photo of the original building and told her that I had stayed at the 'old' Schweizerhof back in 1982. Much has changed since them when it comes to the building but I'm pleased to say that the old fashioned standards of great hospitality and nothing is too much trouble are as good as ever. Our family stayed there for a week for a skiing trip and our time was amazing! The breakfast buffet was varied and the omelettes were delicious. All the staff from the cleaners to receptionist and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms have beautiful view to the mountains and the location is perfect, so close to the Steinplatte and other ski resorts. We’ll be coming back! Thank you 😊

This is a large and very comfortable hotel in the traditional style but much enlarged over the years. The location is a couple of miles outside Kirchburg with easy access to the skiing via a frequent bus which stops directly outside and serves the local lifts and through to Kitzbuhl. It was a truly amazing experience to stay at this chalet. Initially, we were worried because there was no review and it almost seemed too good to be true. However, Philipp (who manages the property) was always responsible and helpful. The Chalet looks exactly the same (if not better) as these beautiful picture.
