La Coquillade, without doubt the best hotel in Provence. An outstanding hotel in an amazing location. This is the third time we have stayed here in the last 12 months. Each time it is consistently exemplary in every way. The rooms, the service, the restaurants and food are all outstanding.

This hotel is a great find. The hosts Francois and Christine couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, offering us a drink on arrival and providing us with lots of information on the area. They even hosted an aperitif evening for the guests which was wonderful. Our room was very spacious and clean with a great view over the surrounding countryside. Really lovely hotel - room was spacious and clean. The grounds were well kept and the pools were a lovely space to relax. Staff were all fantastic and always on hand to help with any questions. Highly recommend

I don’t usually write reviews but I loved everything about this place. From the individually styled rooms to the chair carved out of the stump of an old sycamore tree at the top of a flight of metal steps. Everything has been put together with such thought and care.

Nice property decorated with panache. Really good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Simple well appointed rooms. Great pool with comfortable shaded seating around.

Overnight stay enroute back to the uk, a little tricky to find, due to reliance on vehicle gps. Slight issues with checking in, due to some problems with Expedia system but no real problem. Bedroom amazing, so elegant. Host recommended a local restaurant for evening meal which didn’t disappoint. Great breakfast with Home made jams and cake. Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with outdoor pool and spa facilities which looked excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked but the hotel did advise me, my only comment would be though that there was no kettle to allow you to make a drink in your room which was disappointing especially when you was not dining in the restaurant, it would be sensible to offer one even if not in each room

Excellent staff room very clean food excellent

Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting

We had a fantastic stay in Provence as a family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help throughout our stay. The accommodation was excellent, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.
