"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Governor's Gargula. We received excellent service from the staff and the food was exceptional. The hotel is located about 6 Km outside of Dambulla and used this hotel as a base to visit many of the sites in the area (Dambula Caves, Sigiriya (Lion's) Rock, and Ruins of Polonnaruwala). Not really walkable to anywhere but most of these sites have to be driven to anyway. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We had an amazing stay at Jetwing Lake. What a beautiful and unique property with a stunning pool! It was so easy to visit Sigiriya and the Eco Park from there. The staff were amazing. And the food was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets each night. "The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent.
