The hotel & grounds were wonderful. There was loads of wildlife, including mongeese, monitor lizzards, grey slender loris & a resident crocodile. The room, restaurant & swimming pool were all excellent. There were also plenty of places to sit & read outside the room eg a library area.

A lovely stay at the Wild Grass Resort. The villa was amazing - clean, very spacious , beautiful outdoor enclosed showers. Very tranquil location. General service was good though they got our booking a bit confused and had to clarify it 4 times with different staff until they agreed with me..other than that,we really enjoyed the stay, have been here before and will def come again

Badminton was good fun! Tree planting signage and labelling was very interesting and engaging. But the most amazing part was the Sri Lankan food. The Hoppers were phenomenal and the potato curry at breakfast sublime!

We had a lovely 3 day stay at Seasons Villa and were very well looked after by Lakmalee and Nelin. The house was only 1 year old; very clean and comfortable. They provided delicious and plentiful breakfasts and dinners and local medicines when I was ill one day. They were very knowledgeable about the local area and activities, including the best place to have an authentic Ayurvedic massage. Highly recommended.

The standout from this place was the pool. Easily the best to date in Lanka. It runs directly East to West so has the sun permanently on it, making it lovely and warm. It also appears in very good nick so I would guess is relatively new. The room was pleasantly adequate with no complaints. The odd thing was there was no reception as such so to find someone, I discovered ‘hollering’ ended up being the best way. Location is definitely Marmite with peace, quite and seclusion giving it a glowing...

We had three nights in two tree houses in August and wished we had booked more. The location and the people deliver so much more than the pictures and description promise. The place feels remote and peaceful, the wildlife is wonderful (it borders a national park), and the rooms are extraordinary: they are open tree houses but they are clean and well-designed, and the bathrooms are excellent. You feel as if you've joined a knowledgeable group of wildlife enthusiasts who happen, also, to be...

The property is in the lap of nature surrounded by fruiting plants and peacocks. It's an excellent getaway from the hustle of fast-paced city life. The best part was the host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As we arrived, he plucked fresh passion fruits from his garden and made juice for us. For lunch, he arranged delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food. For dinner, we requested grilled chicken and he arranged that as well at reasonable price. He also arranged a safari driver...
