"Mystic River Resort feels like you are staying in the Congo with an amazing staff, food, drinks, and rooms. The rooms do not have AC so we recommend staying here in the winter/spring unless you are used to the humid heat. The excursions available all around are awesome! And the food/drinks within town are amazing and CHEAP! We will definitely be back to the resort in the winter for a cooler experience as we see more temples."

She was always in contact with the drivers who took us to our tours, and she made great suggestions for our trip. The property itself was so inviting and peaceful, I felt like we had our own oasis! The room was just what we were looking for - tons of space with a roomy bathroom and shower with great temperature control and water pressure. Their restaurant and the staff were very accommodating, and they made our stay very enjoyable. The Cahal Pech ruins are a two-minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient and fun to go to. "Our cottage was wonderful and the bed so comfy! The grounds were beautiful, we were taken away as soon as we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was a relief to have and so well maintained. And we loved the butterfly conservatory, we can't remember her name, sorry, but the girl that gave us the tour was so informative and easy to talk to. We will definately be back!"
