We had high hope of this hotel and booked a couple of days on the end of our tour around Alaska. The only disappointment was that we didn't book longer! Kenai Peninsula Suites consists of 6 suites, each self contained and very private. The suite consisted of a generous bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchen. We bought fresh shrimp and king crab for the barbour and cooked a meal each night. There's a supermarket in Homer, not too far away. All furniture and fittings are very high...

This was such a great place to stay. Very walkable and central for tours and dining out, it was a safe and quiet location in downtown. The hotel itself felt very smart and upscale, with contemporary fittings and good attention to detail. The room felt spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The whole hotel was clean, including the fitness center, which had modern and working equipment. A good hotel with helpful staff that provides a very good shuttle service, to and from town centre and airport. Would definitely use again.

Fantastic hotel, in a central location and great facilities. Room of a high standard with lots of nice touches. Could do with more sound proofing on the windows, but minor issue. Lots to wander and look at in the hotel. Restaurants good quality. The fitness facilities in particular are amazing. Hotel parking expensive and can get free street parking between 1800-0900. Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Anchorage.

Reception staff could not be friendlier. Room and facilities very good. About 10 taxi to downtown, the hotel itself is fairly isolated.

Enjoyed our short stay. Pleasant, modern hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. Lori on reception was really helpful and answered any questions we had. And, who gets to say they’ve stayed at The North Pole ! The hotel is a bit out on a limb from Fairbanks and you really need a car. That is this only slight negative I can think of, although it didn’t affect us as we had a car. We didn’t get chance to try the breakfast as we had to leave fairly early to go to the airport, but as with the rest...

Nice room, Queen bed a bit small for us but comfortable room. All you need to relax. Included breakfast was a bonus. Area was good and ok mid town. 10 minutes by car to everywhere. Staff efficient and friendly.

Just superb and very co-operative staff

Hotel is in a great location for everything in downtown Anchorage. All the staff, especially catering, were very friendly and helpful. Only slight negative was the shower in the room, which was barely warm, dripped constantly, and the plumbing in our room, and neighbouring rooms, made a loud noise.

Great location for walking around town. Rooms are really big and clean. All thecstaff were really nice and helpful with a loveky breakfast to start the day. Laundry facilities were also really good and reasonably price. Would deffo recommend.
