Hotel City
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel - will stay again! Great location - a short walk from the train station, only 2 mins walk from ferries & main streets, tucked down a quiet side street away from any traffic or street noise. The hotel itself was nice and quiet, well decorated and maintained, with very pleasant rooms and good facilities. The bed was very comfy! Breakfast was excellent (a nice range of foods & good coffee machine) & all staff were friendly and polite. The 24hr check-in was very convenient for us as our plane was delayed and we ended up arriving close to midnight!"

"This is a sweet small hotel right by the lakeside. It was very clean and well appointed. The included breakfast was really good. The room was comfortable and a decent size, with really lovely decor. My only negative is that the walls are quite thin (can hear toilets flushing, etc!) It’s a 20 minute walk downhill from the railway station (I think there are buses back up), and a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal to go anywhere on the lake."

"Highly recommend! From the moment we arrived, to the minute we left, Valentina & Enrico were always helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is included and Maria maintains a clean dining room. We were always greeted by everyone each morning, afternoon and night. Our room was clean and the balcony view was superb! 7min walk to ferry, lots of restaurants between hotel and ferry. Our stay made our experience unforgettable!"

"The Europa has an excellent position opposite the lake, so one has a beautiful view whilst enjoying a great breakfast. The selection of food and drinks on offer is fantastic. The beach is just over the road, the shops and restaurants are all a short stroll as is the boat station. There’s a nice path along the lake for my morning walk/jog. This was my second stay here and hope to return. Delightful"

"What an absolutely incredible stay! This hotel truly sets the standard for excellence and delivers a genuine luxury experience from start to finish. The room was absolutely immaculate and beautifully designed. Every detail felt fresh, modern, and spotlessly clean, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a stunning, pristine bathroom that felt like a private spa. Breakfast was a massive highlight of our stay. The selection was vast, beautifully presented, and constantly refreshed with high-quality, delicious options. Instead of instant dispensers, all hot drinks were freshly brewed to perfection by attentive staff. The service throughout the hotel was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and will definitely be returning!"

"Hôtel très bien situé , très propre. Bon rapport qualité prix. Très bon déjeuner. 2 Spas sur le toit, très belle piscine. Réception à l’arrivée très rapide m. Lits à ressort moyennement confortable. C’est un vieux hôtel mais bien entretenu. Excellent rapport qualité prix , je vous le recommande."
