"It was quite nice, we stayed there what felt like a long time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, at some point it felt like a second home. Some of the facilities were a bit miss, such as our sink tap just being just broken though still functional. But everything else was quite pleasant. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely go back. In parts like the edges of the dining area the carpet was ripped and the hotel is a bit on the older side. Needs more maintenance. But otherwise our room was clean and enjoyed our stay. "

"Visiting Yogyakarta for the first time, I decided to stay at the Royal Ambarrukmo. I am glad I picked this hotel as it was a very comfortable stay with many great amenities. I utilized their fitness area, which had many options for weight training with the machines they had, including dumbbells. The staff was terrific, and I would say one of the best parts of my stay was the breakfast. Never have I seen so many options in a breakfast buffet. I maybe tried a tenth of what they had to offer, and I didn’t have room to try anymore. Make sure you don’t miss the breakfast to get your day started."
