"Very friendly staff. Despite our very late arrival the owner of the establishment ensured me I could call him and he would assist us on the check-in. Very large, cosy and comfortable rooms. Plenty parking availability. I warmly recommend this hotel for both business travellers as tourists."

"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Jeg boede på hotellet i en uge, sammen med min søn. Han sidder i kørestol så derfor er det vigtigt at tingene fungerer. Det var et fantastisk sted og alt fungerer, beliggenheden er også perfekt udgangspunkt til udflugter og byen super hyggelig. Værelserne og indretningen er gennemført og nyt og lækkert. Ekstra lækkert var saunaen."
