"A very comfortable, but slightly dated hotel . The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the leisure facilities . The whole place could do with some modernising though as it is all feeling quite tired and in need of general modernising"

"The property is really nicely maintained, especially common areas like the lounges, reception, and bar. Our room was nice, comfortable (albeit small) but it didn't have a mini- fridge, which we found odd and kind of a bummer. I might be in the wrong for not reading the fine print and just assuming there would be one; I've never stayed in a hotel where there was no mini-fridge. We were able to do without it, but if you're someone who needs to keep something cold (like a nursing mother or someone who takes certain medication), that can be an issue. Our view of the river was cute. We appreciated being able to open the window. All in all, a stay here seems a tad overpriced for what you're getting in your room. This would be a great place to stay if you're on a business trip and plan to use the on-site lounge, bar, and restaurant."
