"We have stayed here 3 times now. It is a great value for a short stay near Exeter. It may look basic but the rooms are clean and tidy and a good breakfast too. Easy access to M5 and 10 mins drive into Exeter. Free parking."

"Lovely hotel in a peaceful and picturesque setting but only a short drive into Exeter. Room had everything I needed and very comfortable. Pool and Spa area are amazing. The only slight negative was the onsite restaurant, although food quality was very good the menu itself was quite limited and there wasn’t really anywhere else close by to eat in the evening."

"Glamorous hotel, faded in places and could do with a little refurb in the bedroom corridors and around the pool, but we had a lovely stay, the facilities are great and our room was well-appointed. Great location, right next to the station and lovely view of Torquay. We will definitely return."

"Staff are very helpful and friendly, lots to do for children. Next to the beach and a cliff walk down to Amusements, rides arcade and Restaurant. Parking is in front of Hotel. Room has everything you need. Tea coffee biscuits etc Netflix and sky sports. We enjoyed our week very much"

"Ignore the bad reviews. This is the second year running I’ve came here with my children. The hotel is clean and the staff are really polite and helpful it’s cheaper than the other hotels in the area as it’s being refurbished the rooms are decent and lovely views if you get a sea room. "
