"Lovely stay at Citizen M. Super convenient spot, friendly staff, nice bar and lots of communal seating areas. Enjoyed that you could cast to the TV from your phone easily and the bed was massive. I would say, that as the bathrooms are frosted glass pods within the room, you better be comfortable with whoever you're staying with!"

"A bedroom without windows was a worry but the aircon was good and there was, in fact, an opaque glass panel that gave a good impression of a window. There is no kettle in the room but you can buy a cup of tea at reception if inclined. I can see the benefit of it being easier and cleaner for staff but it's another unexpected cost to add to having to pay £5 per night to chose a room rather than be allocated one that could be unsuitable. Apart from these negatives, the staff at reception and in the breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. The quality of the breakfast buffet was very good and frequently refreshed. I didn't think I'd like this hotel but it turned out very acceptable and convenient."
