"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Loved the old world charm of the hotel.
Room large and comfortable. Food excellent all round. The owners very amenable and friendly. Staff so nice and efficient.
No complaints at all."
"Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff.
The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.
Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much!"
"The Breakfast was included and was really excellent (good choices, fresh good quality ingredients, well presented etc.), and the free off-road parking at the rear was convenient.
We stayed in the cottage which is nicely presented, and good value. The only minor issues were the tv remote didn’t work (probably just batteries), the bathroom is a bit tired (toilet hard to flush, mold around the bath), but the shower and overall facilities were good enough.
Overall, a comfortable good value stay."
"Room was clean and staff very friendly. Good value for money and a pleasant walking distance to town or very handy for buses. Excellent choice of hot breakfasts, plus cereals, with quick and friendly service. Option to dine in pleasant bar or restaurant for lovely evening meals very handy. "

"Lovely large bedrooms at rear of property and plent6 of parking.
The staff were first class in all areas and even got a call before arriving warning us that the road would be closed at 7pm for works preventing access to car park.
Food very good in restaurant.
Don’t be put off by first view from street the interior and rooms are excellent."
"The already Excellent reviews are well deserved! Ideal for our stay in Pickering being close to the town centre and pubs/restaurants. The parking felt secure and convenient. Our room was well presented with breakfast having quality ingredients and cooked professionally. "
"So we booked up on Hotels.com on a good deal. We had never used this website before we were pleased how easy it was to book this hotel. Cottage Lea’s is place alone from any other buildings. At reception we was met and all was explained about the hotel facilities, our room was clean and well kept and comfortables. So with further to do we will be returning for another visit."
