Lovely retreat, lovely hosts

My daughter had recommended Azalea to us after staying here last year and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was spotlessly clean and modern, comfortable bed, good wifi and air conditioning. We were on the ground floor but we were not disturbed by any noise. Breakfast was served on the balcony upstairs and this was good quality and freshly made to order. The homestay is about a half hour walk to the old town and a half hour bike ride to the beach. You can hire bikes for a small fee. We arranged a trip through the homestay and this was added to our bill at the end as was our driver to Hue. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Azalea homestay.

Nice Homestay, the owner is able to communicate well in English, rental of motorbike and bicycle are available. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Wonderfully-kept property, spacious and clean room

I stayed several places during my almost three weeks in Hoi An and Azalea Homestay was the one that was in the nicest condition. No signs of age to the rooms or guest areas. The rooms are quite spacious, completely clean, well-kept, comfortable and with welcomed amenities. The bathroom is also spacious and set up nicely. A nice ventilation system is in place. Didn't use A/C because it was cold enough already with the weather. There was a small fridge in the room along with hairdryer and hand soap in the bathroom - all things we appreciated. Breakfast (if included) is served on the upper veranda overlooking the river. Breakfast was appreciated. Coffee with milk didn't seem to have milk. Ordered omelets both days, first day it was good, second day it was great. Water filter on property was appreciated. Bike rental is inexpensive and condition of the bikes were quite good. Location is great as it is only a 5-10 minute bike ride into the old city. It's also located right along the river. Nearby there are restaurants. Luan, the madame of the guesthouse was helpful, friendly and professional. We felt quite welcome. There were a few miscommunications regarding prices charged and extending our stay Luan was very accomodating and strived to make us very pleased guests, as she did. Overall, very nice value for what we paid.

Great place for a Hoi An Base. Lovely hosts who were available for help all the time. Great breakfast. We had laundry done too.

Loved our stay here. Would definitely go back

This homestay was superb and we were sad to leave. The rooms are spacious and had lots of natural light. The air-con unit is silent. There is a mini bar with prices that match any local shop you visit (10,000 for water). Daily room cleaning if you want it. Tv with good movie channels. Breakfast is eggs, baguette and a plate of various fruit with a tea or coffee and this sets you up for the day. The family also cook local breakfast which are delicious. The staff are really friendly. We cooked and eat with the family on Christmas Day which was an amazing experience and made Christmas really fun. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone.
