"This is an old property showing signs of its age. Our room reeked or cigarette smoke from times past. The breakfast lacked eggs and meat. It was quiet and we slept well. Would not go back."

"I paid over $850 to say 1 night while I was in Tuscaloosa for a concert. The price was raised due to the concert but this is a very low quality hotel. In the future I would rather sleep in my car. If you have any sensitivity to smoke or mildew smells, do not stay here. The smell of cigarettes is so strong it’s hard to breathe and you cannot open the window because there are no screens. I spent most of the time in the room covering my nose & coughing. If I paid $100/night I would not have left a review, but considering I paid almost $900/night, i felt compelled to share details of the room. I was fooled by other reviews that stated this was nice. The only “renovation” I saw was a new mirror by the sink. Other than that this was rundown and when you walk into the lobby the smell of air freshener is so overpowering. There was also an air freshener hanging on the hotel room door. I would not recommend this hotel and staying in your car, a camper or tent is a better option."

"This hotel had what we needed for a night’s stay. The room seemed to be recently updated and the bed comfortable but the bathroom – not so much. Faucet in the shower was leaking and the toilet didn’t flush properly. I did bring these issues up to the front desk in the morning when I returned my keys. Breakfast was nothing we would eat, so we did not take advantage of that."

"I only had to stay here, cause it was the last resort and I was going to Morgan Wallen concert. Otherwise, this place it smells awful. The rooms were tore up, cracks in the walls and the floors. The countertops were dirty. There was like blood or dirt on the walls. The curtains were so dirty from people touching them. They were black. There wasn’t any hot water and only a drip from the shower. Every area was dirty and smelled awful. The gym is not a gym at all. It’s not a fitness center has a couple cardio machines that’s that’s it and it was dirty. The air conditioner didn’t work and it smelled awful. The staff is extremely rude. Don’t try to get any customer service when they don’t ever answer the phone when you go to the desk they treat you like your burden free breakfast that that was a joke. It’s a bunch of just prepackaged pastries."

"First, the general manager here is basically useless. Apparently, he had taken it upon himself to change reservations from 2 beds to a single king bed on a sold out night, which was not feasible for families/groups of 3-4 people. When contacted by front desk staff (who were amazing), he told them to just let the guests leave because he wasn’t fixing the mistake he made. This is unacceptable. Then, when we tried to use the toilet in our room, it was stopped up. My husband called the front desk to get a plunger, which was quickly brought to the room. We thought he had fixed it; however, when we came back at midnight from the concert we were in town to see, the toilet had overflowed and flooded the bathroom. Mind you, we had only used the bathroom in our room once and put the toilet paper in the trash can because of the initial issue with flushing the toilet. We called the front desk, and the staff member said he would call the manager who would call housekeeping. The staff member ended up calling us back and said he was just going to come help us himself because the manager wasn’t going to do anything. This was the worst management I have ever dealt with. I’m so thankful the front desk staff members were so helpful. On top of all of this, the shower curtain had mildew on it, and the mini fridge had rust on the outside and leaked slightly. For the outrageous price we had to pay because of the concert, this whole situation was absolutely terrible! 10/10 do NOT recommend!"
