"The place was not open when I tried to get in all doors were locked, the receptionist didn't have my booking details. There was a set of building steps at the door that I needed access to get into my room. The room stank of paint and the pictures in the advertisement was not the same as the room that I was given. The phone number that was advertised on the entrance did not exist. The place was a horrible tip thats why I lefr after an hour."

"The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep."

"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice...

"What a lovely room. A bed you could sink into, even though my husband prefers a firmer bed I thought it was great. Loved the Character of the place so much history. Menu looked good but unfortunately we weren’t there to eat an evening meal. Ooh! but having stayed in many hotels this had the best and most perfectly cooked English Breakfast I have ever had. Even better than mine and that’s saying something. Staff were very friendly and I would be very happy to recommend anyone to stay here."

"Upon arrival we were informed that the elevator does not work and we had two suitcases and I was not able to take them up two flights of stairs. Therefore I had to leave my suitcases in my car when I had essential items in there. I needed it. I was very disappointed and they did nothing to accommodate. The girl working would not have been able to lift my suitcases up to fights of that either. I asked if some sort of benefit could be given to me and I was informed no I am very upset about the...
