"The Jan Thiel area of Curacao is upper class and elegant. The Bed&Bike at Jan Thiel is perfectly situated away from partying, and close to the beauty of the island.
Cars can be rented down in Jan Thiel.
The staff was so helpful, rooms were clean and maintained daily, pool and sitting areas gorgeous.

"The bungalow was advertised as having air conditioning. What they didn’t say was only the bedrooms had air conditioning. The living area and kitchen had no ac. With 90 deg temperatures, it was very uncomfortable."

"I loved my stay at the Kontiki beach resort. Stayed on the non-luxury side and it was beautiful. The landscape, pathways and pools are beautiful, relaxing and private.
My only warning to other guests would be that on certain nights of the week that you won’t really know about in advance, you can hear very loud music from the bars on the beach and it goes till about 12 AM to 1 AM.
Older than that, this resort really is beautifully appointed… The beach area and restaurants are photo worthy"

The hostess, Eve, was amazingly amicable, flexible and welcoming.
The room and all facilities are extremely clean.
It was like living in your own house.
The location is a bit far from the centre, but if you have a car, it won't be a problem to get anywhere.
So, if you like freedom from regular hotels with their rules and limitations, this place is right for you. "

Staff was friendly, clean spacious property, everything you need for a comfortable stay, we love the Tropical island vibes, quiet and conveniently located for relaxation from a busy life.
