4/5 stars. For the price, it’s a very good option if you want to stay in the city. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The shower was great, although I would have preferred the water a little hotter. The reception staff were pretty average, with one major exception: Nestor was amazing. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. He was by far the best part of my experience. One strange thing was being told that I had to keep the air conditioning on and that maintenance would have to be called if I turned it off. I eventually got cold and turned it off anyway, and nothing happened. The location is excellent if you want to explore the city. Personally, I found that after about two days I became bored. The city is quite small, so for a longer stay I’d recommend an area closer to the beach, such as Mambo Beach. A taxi to the beach costs $20 each way. One other thing worth mentioning is that people regularly hang around outside the hotel asking tourists if they want to buy drugs. They were never aggressive, and a polite “no, thank you” was enough. You’ll probably encounter this elsewhere in the city as well, but there seemed to be a group regularly outside this hotel. Other than those minor issues, I had a very good experience. You get what you pay for, and for the money, this is a great option. I’d recommend it for a short stay of one or two nights.

The room was generally clean although a bit dated. The staff were friendly and mainly multilingual which impressed me. This hotel is located in the middle of everything you need so the location is ideal. Check in and out was a breeze. The one thing I didn’t like was that they asked us to not take off the AC. As someone from The tropics, I don’t like consistent AC/coldness and there was no area that you could retreat from the cold.

A plesant stay for a short trip! Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was very comfortable the entire time. The bed was very plush, and the location is terrific! The hotel is directly across from excellent restaurants, lots of shopping, and in the heart of downtown Willemstad.
