"Welcome Hotel is in a wonderful location, right on the water with incredible views. Terrific restaurants are just a few steps away as is shopping. Easy rideshare or taxi access to the area. Front desk staff was fantastic as were the other staff. We had a problem with the shower drain and they were immediately on it and solved it. "Great location for dining in the old town - shops close and a tram for getting to the station and around. We took the train to Monaco which was easy to do. Hotel very clean and lovely to walk out across the road to the promenade and the beach. You can just go on the public area- pebbly though!- or can pay for a lounger - quite expensive €20+- the sea shelves quite steeply and if the sea is strong a challenge getting out but we made it. A great place to stay. We went for a cocktail at the Negresco and have to say the service there was really slow and not worth the high cost for a drink. "
"The reception lady was so lovely and friendly and helpful, really made a positive difference to our early arrival. We are grateful to her for her rabulous service. Hotel is more of a self catering flats situation. But rooms had everything you needed and nice linens etc. The place is a little 80's and tired. But the pool area is beautiful, location is stunning and its so close to beach and train station. We would definitely come again. Great value for the price in this area. "
