"Premier Lodge is a rather basic hotel but we knew that when we booked it. What sets this hotel apart is the service provided - a warm greeting whenever we passed through reception and the unexpected bonus of the use of the staff kitchen to heat up meals and store food in the refrigerator. As the weather wasn't great we nipped out to the nearby M&S Simply Food store at the petrol station and got some ready to heat meals which we then enjoyed at a table in the lobby area. The room was basic but clean and had tea, coffee, hot chocolate plus shampoo and body wash provided - all you need. The location was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. All in all, for the price paid, we recommend it."
