"Excellent position right on the sea front at Criccieth and we found it easy to find a place to park on the road in front. The exterior of the building is not in the best state. Inside the apartment was clean and bright with stunning sea views from both the living area and bedroom windows. Provisions were basic and we were only provided with one bath towel each for a 5 night stay, which is not enough. "We stayed in a twin room during a walking holiday. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The room had everything we needed; the hairdryer was helpful as not all 3 star hotels provide one. We had dinner in the bar - we both agreed, it was one of the best bar meals we've had in ages! Thank you Y Pengwern!"

"The en suite was very nicely appointed and had a walk in shower. The room was not large but it was perfectly adequate for our few days there. We were a little surprised that there were no drawers or cupboards, just a fold out arm for clothes hangers (which we had fortunately brought with us!) and a bedside shelf. No aircon in the bedroom but fans were provided. There was a boot tray - ideal for walkers The general decor was in good condition as it had been refurbished only a couple of years ago. Parking was free in the car park across the road if you registered your vehicle with the hotel on arrival. Although the hotel is on the A5 road it was not noisy, but then our room was at the back. The manager kindly changed our room because the first one had a shower in bath arrangement and we had requested and had confirmed a walk in shower. The food was nice and all the staff were really pleasant and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again the future."
