The Expedia system did not reveal that the room had a shared bathroom (the floor actually!) which definitely changed the tenor of our stay. We got the “cheap seats” with not only the shared toilet but the restaurant hood fan outside our window filling the room with smells and our room located above the front desk where audible conversations could be heard in the early hours. The staff was lovely (especially the bar) but the hospitality missed restocking the complimentary beverage station (no water or cocoa). It felt like we were camp counselors! If you like quirky and mildly uncomfortable for a relative high rate, you will love it!

Lovely traditional inn in spectacular surroundings. Be forewarned that rooms in the old inn share a restroom with other guests on upstairs floor.

We loved our stay, the lagoon rooms were large and comfy. The s’mores in the lobby on weekend nights is a lovely touch!
