Cerise Carcassonne Sud
8/10 Good
"We had a lovely apartment with a separate bathroom. It had a sofa bed table chairs and a kitchen. The breakfast was expensive but very good food at lots of choices. The staff were very friendly."
Hotel l'Octroi
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel suited our visit to Carcassonne perfectly... The staff were very friendly and helpful, The room although small had all the amenities you'd expect and was very clean and modern. The pool was great fir a cooling dip and the bar offered a good range of drinks. The only disappointing note was a lack of bar snacks but there is a little shop next door where you can buy nuts and crisps etc.. Situated 5 minutes walk from the ancient Cité and about 20 minutes from the newer town.... Overall quite an enjoyable experience."
Hôtel du Château & Spa Gemology
10/10 Excellent
"We spent one night here on 30th August and regretted not staying longer. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and great views of the citadel ramparts. The hotel is at the famous Narbonne gate entrance to the citadel and we had a wonderful time with family and friends in Place Marcou. We will definitely return at a future date."
ibis Styles Carcassonne La Cité
8/10 Good
"Stays for three nights to explore the medieval city and do a day trip to Toulouse. The hotel is very walkable to the medieval citadel and is also on a bus route so for us, well located for our needs but far from the main carcassonne and taxi to/from the airport will cost over €20. Rooms large and clean, slight drain smell so needed to keep bathroom doors shut. The a/c annoyingly reverted to 25c from 22c during the night time so had to get up to regulate it (was 30/31c during day). Breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice machine was a nice touch. Swimming pool was fantastic after a hot day walking the ramparts and exploring the medieval city. Towels are a non-refundable €2 and disappointingly small. Overall we would stay here again if in the area - a well priced, comfortable hotel."

Hotel l'Aragon, à 50m de la cité de Carcassonne
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well located a few steps from the Carcasonne fortress. We appreciate the air conditioning, comfortable bed and view of the fortress. The bathroom is snug but functional. Breakfast has a good variety of options. The eating area is tight and of course has a lot of people moving around getting drinks and food so I recommend sitting against the back wall so you don’t have a lot of traffic while enjoying your morning coffee. We visited during a few very hot days in July so the sparkling clean pool was an absolute treat."
