"Staff very helpful and polite room was very comfortable and clean fire place in our room was huge i will be back winter time around Christmas would be very cozy as we visited in July with temperatures in the 30s but our room was quite 😎 cool"
"This is a small B&B type establishment above an affiliated restaurant. It is tastefully decorated, and creative. Potential guests should be aware that you will have to climb narrow stairs, and there is no lift. Also, those addicted to air conditioning. should know that the upstairs rooms can get warm. We were happy with opening windows and using the excellent supplied fans. Many thoughtful details, like fresh flowers in the room every day, carefully wrapped chocolates, slices of fruitcake, and a nice selection of coffee and teas were appreciated. Breakfast are offered at varied times, and with a nice choice of freshly made options. Above all, we appreciated the lovely staff, including Pina, Sarah, and several others. Sarah went above and beyond to help us arrange transportation, find interesting places to visit, etc.."
"Great location and a lovely pub. We arrived on a very hot evening with our own fan. The room would not have been usable without it. However we were allowed to use our own. But we feel one should have been available in the room.
We had a couple of relaxing drinks in the spacious garden before retiring.
Breakfast was lovely this morning. Fixed menu but we were allowed to flex from it.
Staff were really helpful and engaging.
This is a popular pub and you need to book ahead.
We will return as it was a very enjoyable overnight stay."
