Beautiful place - very clean and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bed over an 18 night tour. Owner is very helpful and polite - lovely breakfast provided by him. Have stayed here before and came back which is a recommendation in itself. Five stars.

Perfect, perfect, perfect. We stayed here one night and wish we had stayed longer. The best place to stay if you plan to visit any ww2 sites in Normandy. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated...not over the top. The bathrooms were modern and spotlessly clean as were the bedrooms, the bedding was really good quality and most important for us the mattress was super comfortable. Amazing, comfortable, immaculate, modern and spacious, an absolute gem within a quiet, historic, picturesque setting with welcoming and friendly hosts. Truly great breakfast featuring local produce. Town, museums and restaurants a short drive away.

What a gem! This was our last night stay before catching the Cherbourg ferry back to the UK. The rooms were lovely, lots of little touches. The family who run it were so kind, they also own the restaurant out back which had incredible food and amazing wines, very well priced. If you’re looking at staying in this town, you will not be disappointed!!

Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. We were in the French countryside The breakfast was continental. We were asked what time we would like breakfast and did we want tea or coffee When we arrived in the dining room or breakfast was laid out for us on the table Natural yogurt.apple juice,fruit,various breads butter homemade quince jam and cheese.when we were eating Madame brought in fresh scrambled eggs…from her hens.

The host family was friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely, comfortable, and well-decorated space. A lot of thought went into the place. We had a lovely breakfast daily. The host was always available to everyone, even though they left you to rest and enjoy. The property is tranquil and peaceful, allowing you to relax. We are delighted and would gladly return; it's value for money. We loved having our French Bulldog, Triptan, stay with us. Thank You - Merci

Only been here for a few hours so far but already managed to sample the pool, beach, shops and restaurants, as they’re all so close by! It’s really quiet, despite it being Saturday night and so close to town, but the layout of the apartments has been done so you can hear the sea and not much else. Looking forward to exploring more tomorrow.

Our first time staying at a Brit Hotel. The staff, even the ones that did not speak English were extremely friendly and helpful. A special commendation to Elise who went above and beyond to help us. Room and food very good for the price. Great value for money. We will definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the area.
