Love this hotel and stay here often. It is well situated between the town with shops, restaurants and market (10 min walk) and Pontaillac with it's beach front casino, shops and restaurants (15-20 min walk). Rooms are well appointed, spacious and clean. There is a Spa with steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and jets in the pool area as well a gymnasium. A variety of treatments are available book in advance of your stay, list is available to download etc. We have not tried the sea-view restaurant which...

Nice little hotel with outside terraces, garden and a pool. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good too. The room was air-conditioned, clean and comfortable.

One night stop over on way to airport, very pleasant stay

This hotel is part of the inter hotel chain, but rather like the Best Western chain each hotel seems independent from one another. This one is small enough to make you fee like a guest, there are around 30-35 rooms. The facilities are what you would expect from a three-star hotel and although we did not take breakfast/petit dejeuner in the hotel, it always looked quite reasonable. Great place to stay, good value for the money! A note that it was very quiet in Royan and considered out of season ( our whitsun week off school) therefore it was hard to get a meal later than 7 and their was practically nobody around! The hotel was good for what we needed it for so that was our main priority

Really enjoyed our stay - friendly staff and decent facilities - with perfect location and setting. Breakfast overlooking the beach is a nice touch!

Accueil chaleureux. Propriété très propre .. Belle chambre et salle de bain bien décorées .. Quartier calme. Parking facile et sûr. Service de qualité .. Excellent petit déjeuner bien pensé .. L'un des meilleurs .. N'hésitez pas à choisir ici ..

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it. The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed. We were fortunate to have a lovely room overlooking the garden, together with a small adjoining room for our daughter, which worked perfectly for our family. From the moment we arrived, we received...

Incredibly welcoming and a accommodating

Wonderful chateau with amazingly friendly hosts. We will certainly be back next time we are passing through

We received a great welcome by the staff who were very helpful and gave us all the information we required ( she had a wonderful gravelly voice). The staff member spoke clear slow french to make sure I understood ( but she also had very good English) the room was basic but had a sea view and air conditioning and toiletries so everything we needed. It is possible to swim across from the hotel ( we paddled) and a nice walk into the town centre/harbour Nice buffet breakfast the next morning and...
