"We stayed here from May 11–14, and the reception staff were truly the highlight of our stay. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and played a significant role in making our Coron itinerary a success. When we arrived, they quickly arranged an Ultimate Coron Tour for us on our very first day and also coordinated with tour operators to secure a Calauit Safari Tour. Their local knowledge, efficiency, and willingness to help made a huge difference to our trip. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and other conveniences around Coron Town. The rooms are basic and a bit dated, but they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its staff - especially the reception team. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to helping guests made our stay memorable. Highly recommended, especially for travelers looking for excellent service and local assistance in planning their Coron adventures. Thank you to the entire reception team for going above and beyond - we couldn't have asked for better service during our stay,"

"We had an excellent stay at Bacau Bay Resort Coron. The service was outstanding from arrival to departure, with attentive and genuinely hospitable staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The accommodations were comfortable, and the resort grounds were beautifully maintained. We also appreciated the variety of dining options available on the property. The buffet dinner was reasonably priced and featured a great selection of dishes, along with enjoyable entertainment from the fire dancers and acoustic band, making for a memorable evening. What stood out most was the warm hospitality and attention to detail from the entire team. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return the next time we visit Palawan. Highly recommended!"

"Frankly, this was my worst hotel experience ever, in terms of expectations versus reality. I’ve stayed in many crummy hotels, that I expected to be crummy. And stayed in many excellent hotels, that I expected to be excellent. Never have I stayed at a hotel that I expected to be excellent, but turned out to be very crummy! Also, to put things into perspective, I have visited Philippines 25 times over the last 20 years and stayed in dozens of hotels around the country. We experienced many failures, shortcomings and disappointments from the staff and the hotel: 1. First, their website states that they have 24 hour front desk attendance. In fact, they do not! Had I known the actual truth I would not have stayed there as I have a medical condition for which it would be ill advised to stay on an island with no means of being able to quickly reach emergency medical services. 2. Their website states that they accept Visa as payment. In fact, they do not. Had I known the truth, I would have arrived with more cash, as it was I had to borrow money from my family. Not a good look… 3. Their website states that Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The reception in our room was poor to nonexis"
