Great affordable motel! The only issue we had was at check in. The check in details were not correctly sent to us. There was nobody on site and as international visitors we had no phone reception to try and resolve the issue. We had to drive to a local fast food place to get WiFi to resolve the issue with Hotels.com. This was not ideal late at night.

After a long and tiring drive over the mountains and forests from Eureka, we got a very warm and friendly welcome at Quality Inn Chico, and we were very pleased with the facilities in our room, and a big shout out to housekeeping, who had made sure our room was fresh and clean and perfect - a great way to relax after such a drive!
Our room backed onto the street behind and I was woken at 5am by a garbage truck emptying the trash, so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to ask if you can...

Clean, spacious studio suite with comfortable bed. The management is very good and a nice touch is "Wine Wednesdays". A bit out of town, but convenient for the I5 and there's a good Applebys across the road for dining.
The only negative is that the ceiling doesn't offer muc sound proofing so if you aren't on the upper floor and someone moves in above, you know about it.

Very good hotel with modern rooms. One tip if you stay in this hotel is, the TV, Microwave and Fridge is installed in one wall unit. We could not get the TV to work so called the receptionist who came to the room to help. We discovered the electrician who wired the room up wired this unit to the bed side lighting circuit. So we had to switch the bedside light switch on the wall to get things to work. (the bedside lights can be turn off individually)
