Room was comfy. Food was great. Location was handy. Only disappointment was the pool. Apparently, Ireland has a law that says you must wear a swimming cap to be able to swim. No notice of that before arrival. Wife hates the idea, and as a man without hair on my head, but plenty on my back and toes, I fail to see the point. Obviously caps were on sale, but we were so annoyed about this we didn't bother. Since this isnt a requirement anywhere else in the world that we have travelled, I can only...

what a wonderful location! enjoyed a walk along the gorgeous beach (and a paddle in the sea) both at dusk ...and another after breakfast! romantic. enormous room. super spacious- like an apartment! excellent duvet! The wifi in the room we stayed in was awful. had to sit in the reception area to download anything. food in the evening finished rather early (8;45pm!?) but we arrived at 8;47 and were kindly (and brusquely) served anyway. grateful for that. cos nothing else to eat around the hotel...

Celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel in our opinion. The room was spotless (I'm very fussy), the hotel staff were lovely and friendly....they really seemed to be happy in their jobs. We had bed & breakfast, which was probably one of the nicest breakfasts we've ever had in a hotel. The food was fresh and the choice was brilliant. The kippers were to die for. Although we had a lot of rain, it didn't spoil our stay in Kinsale and would definitely...
