"A friend and I stayed here for three nights in early October. We wanted a quiet stop between the business of Rome and Sorrento. La Barrera did not disappoint. The town of Priamo is charming. "

"We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. A friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay at this family-owned establishment from the three brothers who between them offer...

"What a nice boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and really focused on making sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was limited but delicious and the views from our room were great. There aaa plenty of places to eat close by and the beach was a quick walk. We would definitely stay here again. "

"I usually do not take the time to complete reviews, even when I really enjoy the location. In this case, I’m anxious to do so, as the Grand Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento, Italy, is an amazing place. Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, which not only includes our room, but the elevator, restaurant, lawns, etc. The location is amazing – you simply walk about 150 yards down the hill and you’re in the heart of the best shopping and dining in the city. Other hotels are on the strip, but they are “too busy”, and the 150 yard walk is worth it. A 10-minute walk to the marina to catch ferries to Pasitano, Alalfi, Capri, etc., and a 15-minute walk to the bus terminal for additional options. The staff could not have been more friendly. Complimentary breakfast was first class all the way.
Our plane left super-early from Naples (1.5 hours away), so we had to leave before breakfast was served. The hotel made us a “travel breakfast bag” to eat on the way to the airport. Incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated.
One of my finest travel experiences ever. A+++ and highly recommended.

"This hotel exceeded expectations! The balcony area was so nice, gorgeous view. The room was very clean, very up to date. The service from the front desk was superb. They gave us directions to town and recommendations for dinner. Breakfast had many options and staff was pleasant and helpful . If you are walking and cone from town with luggage, I recommend getting bus going towards Positano, the Will stop at the hotel. Walk in to town is a beautiful walk. I am really glad we stayed out of town it was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. This stay was one of the highlights to our trip! "
"Excellent hotel with amazing kind and friendly staff. The facilities were well kept and cleaned continuously so everything was sparkling. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast included a made to order egg station which is definitely a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel and would return again when in the area."
"I loved my stay here! The staff is super kind, the breakfast food is great, and the hotel is super clean. I love that the hotel is near the train station and the town center!"
"
Staff was amazing at this hotel, breakfast had a good assortment, room was clean and ready upon arrival. Free valet parking for our rental. Hotel within walking distance to train station, local eateries and shops. Would stay again at Hotel Mary and recommend to others."
"The hotel was great but beware that if the ferries are cancelled they will still charge you for the room. All ferries from Sorrento were cancelled, so we went to Naples as the hotel told us to and spent the day waiting on ferry after ferry but all were cancelled due to weather. So there was absolutely no way to get to the island but we still had to pay for the hotel room (and another one in Naples).
However, once we finally made it the next day, the hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly.

"The view over the Mediterranean from this hotel is mesmerizing. You are in for a delicious breakfast with lots of varieties if you want to try their restaurant. Just wish if there was an indoor swimming pool. Also, make sure to know about their shuttle bus schedule as there were no signs on the bus and the evening driver wasn’t that tourists friendly. Your only way to Sorrento is the shuttle or local bus ( SITA bus). Otherwise, taxi is a pricy option
Rooms are clean, room service is good."
