We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option

Such a pretty hotel, loved all the art decor! Perfectly location for your trip - next door to the market, harbour is nearby, main squares and tourist attractions walking distance Couldn’t recommend it more!

The property was unique

Nice location near the old town , staff are very helpful and professional. Rooms are clean , the cafe for breakfast is basic but it’s enough for a quick grab and go . Overall a very nice stay for couple of days .

Loved our stay at 34 Guesthouse, we were visiting for a wedding nearby and the room was lovely, curated to the smallest detail, clean and cosy. The staff was very communicative and kind. I'd like to go back and see another room - they are all tastefully themed based on different Portuguese regions. Highly reccommend.

Excellent hotel in terms of decor, comfort, and breakfast. Delicious breakfast. Great service at the reception. 4km from the centre of town but very easy to get an Uber. The reception will help you if you require transport. Excellent all round.

Faultless stay — we’ll definitely be back! I honestly couldn't find a single thing to complain about; everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The property itself is excellent and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was wonderfully spacious and bright, but the real highlight was the incredible views—both right from our window and looking out toward the nearby castle. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back again in the future!

Lovely hotel, but limited view from our room of the castle wall. Breakfast was not very good, but a lot of variety. Good coffee, but the pain au raisin was undercooked and still raw dough inside. The hot water took a very long time to get through to the shower and in the morning it was only Luke warm. Bed was comfy and pool cool but clean. Free bottle of wine in room was nice.

Lovely hotel with warm friendly atmosphere. Staff could not do enough for us and made our stay really enjoyable. Had a large room with balcony overlooking small park at front. Everywhere immaculately clean. Fresh towels every day. Breakfast lady baked lovely cakes every day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely go back, which for us to say is quite unusual. Good value for money. Free parking at front, safe and hassle free. Thanks also to Reception team who...

This was an amazing hotel and certainly good value..it was spotless in cleanliness and the room was ample in size and even had a kettle!..The breakfast menu was vast and restocked immediately..I would certainly stay there again
