All I can say it is not for me. Too many people the room was horrible I had to drop my TV on the wall it was hanging sideways. Bathroom extremely small in order for me to take a dump I had to leave the door open so my knees could have room. Did not have a good night's rest

The room was probably cleaned but you wouldn’t know it by the condition of the room. The bathroom has been renovated but the rest of the room looked like it hasn’t been touched since the 80’s. The closet door was off the rollers completely and was just sitting there. The bed mattress is horrible. But if you need an inexpensive room for the night, this is your place

Expedia had a 4/4.5 rating…no way possible. The bedding sheet had cigarette burns and the bedspread was dirty. No smoke detector! Bathroom had no heat and was freezing. Closet door was off. Molding was missing or broken off. Outside gutters were clogged, pool had plants growing in it. Door entering the office was dirty.

First impression-needs major overhaul No glass ware No hot water No ice Lights are so low- tough to see anything Didn't see a phone the soap in bathroom was so old it didn't release much soap The front door looked like it could be easily be opened by force

DON’t stay here
This is the worst place! I ended up leaving after an hour. No amenities. Left something behind, called the hotel. He said he would court look but never called back call.walls chipped and smashed in. Yellow rings in toilet and tub. Trouble getting hot water until mgr checked the boiler. So very bad.

The room was freezing
I tried to turn the heater on and it barely circulated air. The blankets looked very worn. There was duct tape on the door. The parking lot was not plowed. There were cars with snow still on them. Like are people living there? I a strong independent woman, lol, but I was frightened. I checked out and drove away.

First checking in young man was very rude got to the room. Had issues getting in the door went back down to him. He started screaming. I told him I said I’m just tired. I’ve had a long ride for four hours. Not my problem with this answer and start screaming and telling me to calm down because I was just tired and frustrated and wanted to lay down shower, anyhow you wanted to give me back my refund at this time I was very very tired. I needed to rest my head. I have been driving for four hours. However when I got in the room there was a poly dirt sitting in the front door corner that was swept there instead of vacuuming up. The front door was taped with duct tape on the inside There was hair in the bathroom sink and the toilet bowl water was brown getting the hot water to run it took it half hour to heat up the chair only has three wheels ones missing almost fell over my overall experience. I’ve done a lot of travel and been in hotels but for 100 and what I paid 125. The service was disgusting all over Will never recommend this placed anyone

The room was clean enough I guess. The bed was awful felt broken in the middle I was afraid to sleep on it. The sheets had cigarette burns in them I slept on top of all the blankets. The shower had no hot water and we didn’t even get a little shampoo there was a half used one left in there from someone else’s stay. Definitely not worth the 103 and change I spent will not be back

The bed was very hard, And I went home with a bad back. The door Latch and lock were screwed up, you had to slam the door to close it. And I had no hot water the morning that I left.

The hotel office door had an old tatterred sign "no mask no service" but the place was so run-down including an empty pool full of weeds several feet high and a parking lot full of stray cats that I laughed at the sign. There was no hot water in the shower and the curtain was moldy at the bottom. The sheets were clean but had cigarrette holes. The staff was polite but I could barely understand him due to a heavy accept (I don't hold that against him). I would have left except there was nothing else close by with availability.

It wasn't the beat kept place. The room was too warm after a hot day. The air-conditioner only was good if you were right next to it. Not going to be a second stay.

This property had duck tape on the door, the shower barley worked took forever to figure out. The pool was filled in by weeds and cats are all around the property. The best part of this place was the toilet paper.

Hadn’t been in a few years. Man, this place has gone seriously downhill to the point where it’s not really somewhere to stay even with zero expectations. Broken lampshades with what looks like dried blood stains, light switches that don’t work, sheet with a slash tear in it, more cigarette burns in the bedding than I can count, an absolutely revolting hand towel with an entire face worth of concealer and mascara stained into it, sticky floor, broken bathroom sink faucet shoots water in every direction all over the countertop. There’s a night in a cheap, tacky motel and then there’s this. I’m the cheapest person I know and even I felt disgusting and ashamed laying my head down to sleep.

This property is inexpensive & for a reason. I get we all look for an inexpensive rest stop if someone is in town for a day or an event & wishes to stay over but this Village Inn in Colts Neck next to the Colts Neck Pub is disgusting I’m sorry to say. I’m not the one to leave reviews like this but I have. No choice here. The room was outdated, had a stench to it, there was no running water in the sink & the shower smelled like sewerage. One key card was given for the room, the pictures for Village Inn is falsely advertised

We asked for a refund after seeing the room and the pest control car parked in the parking lot. The room smelled and we couldn't stay there. We went to a car and brought our bags in and looked around and didn't feel safe with fixtures in the bathroom not complete with a hole where the light fixture resided. Sorry we should not have booked this room. You get what you pay for and at $103 I thought was a deal but was a nightmare. The guy at the desk also scanned my drivers license.

The room was severly outdated, giant cracked mirror, tons of holes and screws in the wall by the bed, stains on every single surface, sheets had a big tear in them, shower was very finicky and drain clogged quickly causing water to be all over the floor, no one came by to swap out towels, tv colors were weird and couldnt reset, old toothbrush under the sink, jet tub was dirty

Unfortunately, the outside entrance of the hotel is deceiving and especially the photos on the site. The only redeeming aspect of this hotel is the Colts Neck Pub within walking distance and Delicious Orchards, slightly further. Not sure where to start! Bathroom: No hot water from the sink. When the shower was a broken jacuzzi and the hot water smelled like sulfur. The room: a lamp without the shade and another dangling on the lamp. The smoke alarm was completely broken, which I'm sure the fire marshal wouldn't be happy about! The pool, don't expect to use that during the summer as that was in awful condition. Cats were wondering the property with food cans around the property. I understand this is a no frills hotel, but this is a neglected hotel and a shame as the area is a wealthy part of NJ and the structure is a nice looking hotel. I wouldn't recommend this. If it wasn't for the fact that I had to book as a last minute and would have lost my money, I never would have stayed, There are better hotels for slightly more

Words cannot express the pure disappointment I had experienced with this Hotel it should noy listed with any site its needs to be Come dam we had no running hot water. Large amount of dust balls and cobwebs sheeting look like they used to cheapest detergent. Just terrible I have pictures. It was horrible after going back-and-forth with management. He did give me a refund. I would never recommend this place especially in Colts Neck that shouldn't be allowed. And let.me not forget to mention that the landscaping was beyond grass was about 3 in high no Exaggeration untrim box plants
