"The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were all excellent and the amenities (wine and cheese, breakfast, and milk and cookies) were such nice extras. Will definitely stay here again. "
"Rooms were well appointed, staff was friendly, nice amenities like the chilled water and cookie bedside each night! Incredible dining experience on site, walkable to much of the shopping and other must see sites of Charleston. A special little place to stay!"

"Truly was the best experience. Mentioned when booking it was gonna be for my daughters Sweet 16 and the staff bought her a cake, wrote her a card AND gave her a $10 gift card from the staff. Truly the most caring staff. Full of recommendations. They do milk and cookies at night and they have all types of M&Ms available. The other amazing thing is each night you choose what you want for breakfast and what time then they deliver the breakfast to 1 of 3 locations (rooftop, your room or their atrium). The rooftop is breezy and can be a bit chilly but beautiful view of the pier. The atrium is nice because the chairs are super comfortable. You can even request the local paper to be included (free of course). Finally they always have tea, coffee and water available in the atrium as well all day. Location is perfect, staff is beyond phenomenal and the hotel is gorgeous.
Also perfect for wheelchair users. It’s a disability friendly hotel."
"Stay was excellent. Person at check in was a little less than welcoming. She said she had never heard of Expedia VIP perks, and was definitely not interested in finding out anything about it. Rest of the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating.
Property is beautiful, loved the location! Ate lunch in the rooftop restaurant, very good.
We have been to Charleston many, many times. This was our 1st stay at The Restoration. We will definitely come back. "
"Beautiful room with gorgeous furnishings and a comfortable bed. Right in the middle of historic Charleston lots of great shopping on King street. Close to College of Charleston. "
"Really interesting hotel, neat vibe. Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Lots of interesting things going on and loved the nightly cookies and the daily French breakfast delivered to the room. "
"The rooms are comfy and not fancy. We made the mistake of not checking up on what room we’d be in and they put us in one facing the bar/restaurant. But the kindly switched us to one facing the street, which provides light and less noise. The pool and bar and restaurant are great and nice to have a cafe there as well. Best feature is the location. Walking distance to everything and in the historic district. "
