"The hotel was lovely and clean very old worldy set in a beautiful location They even have their own Heli pad A lovely little walk across the road through a wood and a bench to sit on to admire the beautiful views For us it was too way out and not practical"

"Very poor upkeep of building and rooms. Room was unclean and very dilapidated. Paid £9 for breakfast which was a tiny plate of mini muffins and mini croissants to choose from. Drinks machine with only tea cups available which meant the contents ran out into the machine and spilled over. Would definitely not recommend staying here."

"This an impotant historic property with fabulous grounds but has been upgraded to a clinical level. Very clean but no soul. Needs aome fwminine touches. Shelving, pictures, hooks etc. No retaurant facilities or breakfast. Basic but adequate"

"The Cambridge is a gem, so glad I found it. Location is very central for station and civic amenities and walking distance from proper pubs! It's in an older, quieter part of town so there is lots to see and decent places to eat. The rooms are just as good as Premier Inn (where I usually stay when in Huddersfield) and half the price. Parking underneath the hotel is fab and access will be much improved when the road works are finished."

"Check in quick and easy, room lovely and clean,mini bar and snacks avaliable for small cost ,free tea coffees hot chocolate, breakfast avaliable, selection of ceareals,fruit cakes and yoghurt n juices and hot drinks,cooked breakfast if required, great location in centre of town,bars shops in walking distance, a few car park spaces avaliable. "It was a cosy cabin with everything we wanted, views of woodland on the other side across the path was the canal, plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from in Marsden."

"It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night."

"A just ok apartment to stay if you have no where booked. Apartment situated in a block. No parking available at place, have to use public parking within around the location which is reasonably priced at least. Very uncomfortable old matress that really needs a change. Renovation needed for entire block even corridors leading up to the apartment. "
