"The food at the restaurant, Embers, is absolutely amazing. Also the staff at the hotel are very accessible and accommodating. The cookies were a nice little bonus. The room had lots of used equipment and the beds were super comfortable. A large parking area is available. May have to revisit sometime."

"Overall great experience as it was 2nd time staying at this hotel in Philly. Very convenient to all the major landmarks around independence hall, old city, center city and South Philly! Very walkable. The room was cleaned after 1st night but 2nd day housekeeping didn’t come back to clean the room until after we checked out on 3rd day."

"Do not ever in your life consider booking here. I cant stress enough. By far worst place i couldve ever picked to stay at. Broken appliances. Fridge doesnt work and leaks everywhere (and smells). Shower let out brown liquid. Burn marks on furniture and all over the duvet covers. And the constant cigarette smoke even in non smoking rooms. And on my last day…..roaches. Genuinely unbelievable this place stays open with these conditions"

"I opted for the smoking room and it was not properly cleaned . The toilet was dirty, but the shower was clean. The linens were disgusting . There were stains and burn holes in there, & the floors were covered in dust and dirt. I asked for new linens and only received new towels. My total for 2 nights was $300 and it was last min booking during a busy weekend in Philly so I guess for that rate you can’t expect much but never again will I book here, The dirty linens was unacceptable ."
