"The valet was terrible. I waited over an hour for someone to get my car. Now it was graduation weekend, but the establishment should have been staffed enough to avoid this inconvenience."

"I stayed in the Diplomat Suite at The Hamilton Hotel for five nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. The internet connection in the suite was extremely unreliable and often unusable, which created significant problems because I was working remotely during my stay. On multiple occasions I had to leave my room and work from the hotel lobby just to get a stable connection. Housekeeping was another major concern. Despite staying for five days, our room was never properly serviced. We did not receive the level of cleaning and housekeeping support that should be expected during a multi-night stay, especially in a suite category. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the staff I interacted with were polite, but the combination of poor Wi-Fi and the lack of room cleaning significantly impacted the overall experience. For a hotel at this price point, I expected much better operational standards and guest service. I would not choose to stay in the Diplomat Suite again unless these issues were addressed."

"I recently stayed at a Hyatt hotel. Overall, the room was clean when I arrived, and I did not have any major issues with the condition of the room itself. However, I was surprised to learn that housekeeping only services the rooms every three days unless guests specifically request cleaning. Several times, I left the hotel and returned to find the room untouched, with the bed unmade and no fresh towels provided. I eventually spoke with the front desk, and I was informed that housekeeping is only scheduled every three days. While I understand that some hotels have adopted different housekeeping policies, I believe fresh towels should be provided more frequently, especially for guests staying multiple nights. One of the staff members was very kind and helpful, and I appreciated his courteous attitude. However, overall, the service was average and did not stand out as exceptional. What concerned me the most was that my niece’s LED lighted mirror went missing from our room during our stay. I reported the missing item both to housekeeping and to the front desk when I checked out. Unfortunately, this situation left me disappointed and concerned about the security of personal belongings. While the hotel was clean and the stay was generally comfortable, the limited housekeeping service and the unresolved missing item significantly affected my overall experience."

"Looks can be deceiving. While this hotel was aesthetically pleasing, the nice decor covered a lot of issues that added up. The staff gave us drink coupons to use at the hotels three restaurants, which was nice, but we couldn’t use half of them. The Treehouse rooftop restaurant was small and crowded, requiring a reservation (which we were not informed of at check-in). We were able to snag uncomfortable seating on the patio where we could order with a QR code, which rendered the drink vouchers useless. We decided to try the basement restaurant for dinner instead, The Singing Tiger. We were the only patrons on a Saturday evening which should have been an indication that something was off. The food was amazing!! However, our main waiter was inattentive and since gratuity was included in the bill (for two people), he didn’t have to work for a tip. The kitchen staff was more attentive than the waiter. For breakfast we wanted to try their small Pantry restaurant, however they did not open when advertised. We asked the front desk of the Pantry would be open that morning and we were told that the waitress hadn’t arrived yet and he wasn’t sure who it was or when they’d be in. We walked to Union Market and got a lovely breakfast Buffalo & Bergen, instead. The room itself was nicely appointed but everything was cheaply put together. The coffee maker didn’t work, the cheap iron barley worked, there weren’t enough towels or counter space in the bathroom, water pressure was low, etc."
