"Mixed feelings about how to judge this. Not sure how many better accommodations exist in Bisbee so I will judge on a Bisbee standard. Otherwise, I would rate it one star. I will give it 3 stars on an overly generous curve. Century old house that was owned by one of the wealthiest guys in Bisbee. Beautiful arts and crafts architecture. Our room was lovingly decorated for the most popular pop band of all time. The hotel could get away with the concept of "staying in a museum" if one knows that up front. No light switches, there are century old light buttons. Outlets are few. The shower is almost inoperable it is so old. Worst shower of my life. No chairside or bedside lighting, just one overhead light with the intensity of operating room lighting. That can be forgiven, if you know it going in. There was no one on site ever (that was mentioned in the info). Still felt like The Shining. There was only one car in the parking lot while we there and we thought perhaps we had walked into a drug deal. The car was there in the morning so I guess that was not the case. The parking lot is overgrown with weeds and there was dog poop on the entrance ramp, both of which are unforgivable. The front porch area could use some love. The toilet seat is days away from detaching from the bowl. If I return to Bisbee, I am not sure where I would stay. I know it would not be here. "

"The room we booked was fantastic and was very spacious for 4 people. Very cool that is a historic building remodeled and used to be a sheriffs office. The bathroom was very nice and the little courtyard was nice to have. Keep in mind this is more like a vacation rental with a self check in process. Great location in bisbee! "

"We were in 128 and it with the street traffic it was so loud and hard to sleep. Also the pillows were rock hard. "

"The hotel’s historic building is a treasure. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately during our stay the elevator was not working, the restaurant was closed (indefinitely?), the bar was closed due to a ceiling leak from an upstairs room and the ice machine was broken. The staff was able to give me ice. "

"This place is historic and has historic charm. So if you book a room here be aware that you may or may not have your own bathroom, you may or may not have lukewarm water to shower with and you won't have any amenities like a TV or be able to control the temperature in your room. The staff is the BEST. There is free coffee and breakfast type items in the morning. It is very relaxing and there is a speak easy bar on the main level that was a great place to hang out at the end of the day. Based on my experience in Bisbee, this was probably one of the best places to stay. "
