"Amazing from the first step inside this victorian beauty, greeted by Amy and Jeff and given the tour of the first floor and amenities available 24/7 for small fridge, wet bar, coffee and tea. Great location, easy free parking, very close to downtown..we drove but could have walked the 3 or 4 blocks, excellent home made hot breakfast in mornings. Just a lovely experience, and room super comfy. The stairs are steep and railing on one side, so careful up and down but this is mentioned in other reviews. Alot of care and planning from the owners for guest satisfaction. Unique one of a million places to try while visiting "the Zoo". "

"The building is perfect for a conference. Parking in the garage directly across the street. The staff were very professional and friendly. I had an issue with part of the bill and they fixed it. They listened. Very meaningful! The gym, pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were all awesome! The elevators made me feel more safe. You can't get to a floor without tapping your card on a sensor inside the elevator and then pressing your floor number. Super cool!! Only odd thing is housekeeping comes every other day instead of every day. Which is fine. But then our housekeeper didn't come at all till we called front desk. Once we called she came right up. But still, shouldn't have to call."

"We had the most amazing stay ever best hotel yet in Michigan kul deep was so help full we had a neighbor slamming doors and being loud and he handled the situation with the most professional way we will be back ALSO THE POOL WAS SO WARM AND AMAZING "

"Visiting a family member in a nursing home. I live 4 hours away so I'm tired by the time I get to the motel. Check in is very easy and this facility is very clean. Quiet and comfortable rooms. And let me say, the breakfast they put on is fantastic! Really makes " the icing on the cake" for this place! I've stayed a couple of times and I will be back again."

"We went for Easter week/spring break. The Easter brunch was wonderful, with a great variety of different offerings that were all good and the staff at brunch were exceptional. We spent five nights in the main inn which has undergone an amazing renovation (almost complete) of all of their rooms and facilities. We chose a Lakeside Deluxe Suite which was very comfortable and a joy to stay in. The fireplace was welcome on the chilly spring days we had as well as the whirlpool tub. The bed was comfortable, the chairs were very comfortable( nap worthy) and the balcony with the view of the lake was was very relaxing. As I said, they are renovating all of their rooms, they were working on the bathrooms when we were there, I would have liked to have known that there would be construction going on. That being said, the small amount of noise wasn't an issue and the contractors were just as pleasant and respectful as the rest of the hotel staff. We did find it odd that in our newly remodeled bathroom, there were no towel bars. It would have been nice to have this option, instead of leaving them on the floor or over the shower door. Overall I would recommend Bay Pointe Inn, Bay Pointe Woods and the Bay Pointe Cottages(we almost booked this, maybe next time) for an enjoyable getaway."
