The Esplanade Hotel was great value for money, (Room 32) We would highly recommend it for a comfortable night and a most amazing and enjoyable breakfast. The front desk receptionist (Lilly) was very helpfull.

The hotel & grounds were amazing, it felt restful & relaxing the minute you arrived. Everywhere was fresh & clean, all the staff were nice, polite & helpful, from the reception upon arrival to the services & cleaning, saying hello as they pass you or offering help if you looked lost. This hotel is for chillers only. Just relax and forget all your worries. Fantastic food, great staff, top class facility. BUT; dont have a 2nd floor room when it's the hottest weekend of the year. Not that you'll know when you book but it was just too hot. No air conditioning just a small noisy fan so took the edge off the chill factor! However, its was a fantastic base to explore west Suffolk. Do try it.......

Advised when booking in that a function taking place maybe noisy, asked if we would like to be moved. We were moved without any fuss. Hotel staff professional pleasant and approachable

The hotel was fantastic for the price. Staff were all really helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Couldn’t empty the bath as there was no plug release! Also the hairdryers need replacing. They are the old fashioned ones fixed into the drawer and it only worked for about 30 seconds before cutting out. Free and ample parking.

This was a last-minute getaway for me and my wife. We have four young kids and two older ones, and the youngest had been poorly, so we weren’t going to go. BEAUTIFUL ROOMS, PLENTY OF SPACE, CLEAN AND MODERN WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND AND STAY AGAIN

This clean shabby at the seems hotel is full of character and friendly staff. Our breakfast was served by a very cheerful waiter and his assistant. The leisure complex is delightful and I cannot praise enough the splendid pool assistant.Her smile and charm lit up the complex and after 14 years service surely deserves some kind of award. However, can you please just smile if you work the reception desk, it costs nothing and makes the world of difference, even if through gritted teeth!
