8.0 out of 10, Very good, (3 reviews)
"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). The breakfast was simple and included fruit, juice, yogurt, sliced cheese and cold cut, packages sweets, tea, coffee and water. The owners were...

"We booked this last - minute and were really impressed with the whole experience. The property and grounds are beautiful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and quiet. Beds were too firm for our liking, but it was easy to overlook as the entire stay was really great. Good options in the restaurant too.
The block of hotel rooms is in a retirement resort, which I think is a wonderful idea! Very much enjoyed our stay. We had a car and parking was free."

Castello di Gargonza
Castello di GargonzaMonte San Savino
10/10 Excellent
The Castello is a unique experience. The service is excellent, it is family run and it is
high quality. Because the accommodation is in former village homes it is unusual but has been modernised with high quality facilities and air conditioning. The restaurant is very good and again great staff. Great pool. It is convenient for visiting Sienna or Arezzo.
