Good value for the price.
The good. The view from the rooftop hotel was amazing; the staff was all friendly, helpful, kind and always willing to resolve any issues that came up. The bed was comfortable, the room was cleaned every day and breakfast was good.
The bad. The shower pressure was terrible.
The ugly. The non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, they switched us to another room and it smelled the same, not much to do in that case, we just had to put up with it. But they were very good about letting us switch rooms.
Overall, great value for the money, really what you’re paying for is literally seeing the pyramids from your hotel room window, and that view is priceless.l
I would recommend this to travelers who are ok with staying in places that are not 5-star hotels. Everything in the area is about the same. If you’re looking for luxury, stay in Cairo at a chain hotel.

Bathroom smelled like a sewer. They came 4 times and just add perfume and clean. Very nice but smell never went away and they should have changed us room or offer something better for us.
Terrible in the rooms but staff is very nice

We had the suite with pyramids view and that was amazing. You would wake up looking right at the pyramids and literally as close as you can get. The lower pyramid entrance is just 100 meters, we just walked. The roof top terrace also has stunning views, we spend half of our days just drinking tea and looking at the sunset and the pyramids. The hotel is very clean and our suite, which consisted of one very large room, was quite comfortable. The surrounding area is as one has to expect in Gizeh, chaotic but safe, at least during the day but we anyway just walked to the entrance of the pyramids.
