"Perfect place to stay while passing through Ashland, easy location to get to from freeway and to go into town for a meal. Didn't try their restaurant or pool this time around, but great in the past. Nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff."

"The room was clean and the front desk staff was very professional and friendly. Two big issues though: I arrived later in the evening, and was only able to check in using a remote desk staff who I think was in the Philippines? She was very professional and friendly, but there was another staff member sitting at the front desk of the hotel, right behind me, so I thought it was very strange that the hotel has contracted out to an offshore worker, presumably to save money. I would gladly pay a few more dollars to support a local community member/worker. I won't be choosing this hotel again as long as they are using a remote front desk agent. Second thing: the pillows were very thick and we all had sore necks in the morning. Other than those two issues, we had a very nice stay. And the Morning Glory Cafe next door had an amazing breakfast!!! "

"I rate this place 5 out of 5 stars. 1) The location is conveniently located to many eateries and parks (literally across the street). 2) Hotel amenities: small gym room but good enough for a decent work out. Plenty of common space seating area for reading, chatting, or playing board games (which they provide). Quaint garden patio areas. Self laundry machines. Indoor parking garage. 3) Decent hot breakfast (bacon, fresh eggs, potato graten) and continental breakfast. (And there's oatmilk!) 4) Inside the room: Shower water pressure good. We stayed at Bard's Inn across the street as well. Both hotels are pretty good. If you plan to utilize the hotel amenities or if you prefer a slightly better breakfast selection, then pick Plaza Inn. "

"Just a block from the Shakespeare Festival, this hotel is ideally located. Room was clean as were common areas. Chairs in the room were cute, but could use some stuffing. Breakfast was good deal at $5…a step up from chain hotel breakfasts. "
