The host, Elisa, was very helpful! She met me at the property to give me access, and also provided recommendations for travel routes and local restaurants. This was my best choice of stay in Italy by far.

Overall it was great, the only issue that all the rooms are near the hall so it can get noisy early in the morning.

A collection of stone farm cottages perched 170m above La Spezia. This is a wonderful retreat out in the countryside. Rooms are clean and well equipped including a wood oven outside as well as conventional cooking facilities. As other reviewers have said the hotel is extremely difficult to find even with a GPS in the car. Once there, however, it is worth the effort. The rooms are compact but have the added bonus of a lovely little kitchenette which is small but very well equipped. The views from the rooms are also lovely. Note that some rooms are downstairs which may present difficulties for those with mobility problems. Communication by phone (trying to ask directions on how to get there) were also difficult as...

The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfasts provided were more than adequate. The hotel staff were very helpful, ringing for taxis and to the pharmacy. The position is absolutely excellent - right on the beach. The setting is fantastic with wonderful views of the bay. About a 10 minute walk into the mani town square along a lovely promenade. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful small town. Breakfast was great, staff were very friendly and helpful - sorting us out with a booking at the nearby beach club and providing timetables so we could take a boat trip to Portofino. The pool area was a perfect size and well looked after, as were we! Our family room was spacious and well laid out, and we had the use of a private terrace. So many little touches made this hotel extra special for our family holiday. We highly recommend it!

Hotel San Terenzo has a brilliant location it is on the beach, you can use the sunbeds on the roof and not the ones on the beach. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was a small hotel with friendly staff.

Good family hotel

The hotel and grounds are fabulous! Staff very friendly, and it was lovely to see the staff bring their dogs to work! A truly relaxing place!

We have stayed here several times in the last few years because it is always great value.Plus the host is always very welcoming and the free car park is very useful.The rooms are spacious and have large radiators.Good selection at the breakfast buffet with only one very slight complaint,no toaster.

Perfect location in the centre of town, and just moments away from the seafront. The rooftop pool has spectacular panoramic views.
