"If you want to be close to history, locals in the marketplace, a wide variety of activities, a great beach with character, and old world amazing charm... then this is it. Not your typical westernized tropical beach which is far away (1-2 hrs drive) and found way up north. There is nothing up there historically because there was no way to create a harbor for international multicultural trade there. Tembo has 2 infinity pools, 1 courtyard pool, and a great ocean front beach with beautiful views of all types of boats going by. Staff were superb and will remember you by sight, if not by name, when you pay attention to them. Walkabouts in Stonetown are easy, safe, and all around you. Management and staff are proud to be here, just as my group of 7 friends were. Great food, beautiful rooms and historical decor. Kevin from Boston area."

"My stay at this resort was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality, professional service, and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. "The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."
