Excellent staff and service. Dining options were amazing. The hiking trails were challenging and had scenic views. The lake views of the mountains are breathtaking.

Beautiful property and the private onsen was well worth the extra cost. Really enjoyed the small (10 shops or so) shopping area next to the hotel. Staff was incredibly helpful.

The room’s way nicer than it appears on the picture, extremely clean and spacious. The only drawback was that not much view for the room we reserved. Otherwise, the service was top notch, excellent buffet dinner and breakfast. There’s nice outdoor onsen too. Bus pick up and drop off was easy. Would definitely visit again and stay longer next time.

The layout of the room #217 with onsen out in open space is great and impressive. Food in the restaurant is superb. Only complaint is the lack of direction to the property especially after sunset. Love this hotel very much.

Amazing buffet for dinner and breakfast, small shop inside was full of goodies. Great facilities including public baths and even a separate foot bath. Building infrastructure is a bit outdated but not a real problem.

There were still very few guests after Covid and we enjoyed the quietness and tranquility. Loved the food, hot spring, antique speakers, harp performance in the lobby and walk around the lake. Highly recommended.

2 double beds, Western style room and hot tub
On entering the resort, the lobby was inviting and very warm. The cushions seen in the picture are comfortable but worn. And although convenient, our hot tub on our deck was just an ordinary plastic hot tub. The Western style beds were disappointing and difficult to get a good nights rest. The mattress was of poor quality as the springs could be felt when lying down and with movement. On a more positive note, the most outstanding feature at this resort spa was the expansive buffet and the hot springs down on the first floor. The outdoor hot springs aka "Rotemburo" was refreshing.

Smelly toilet in our (private onsen) room was a downside But the rest was good. Dinner buffet was great esp dessert :) Check out time is 10am feel a bit too early since check in time is 3pm Overall was ok:)

Superb service & an extremely beautiful property with local decor. F&B was wonderful too. The onsen is fabulous.

Great resort for the getaways. We got the room with private bath and it’s very lovely to soak at night watching the stars. The main onsen is very clean and well maintained as well. Got the oil massage as well and it was very relaxing. Every single staff is friendly and helpful. My only concern is the dinner. It’s clearly a mix of Japanese traditional items with some western dishes. Even though the western ones are not bad, they don’t hold the same standard as the traditional ones. Mains courses are even worse than the buffet sadly.

the dinner and breakfast were great with many varieties. the decor of hotel was also very nice. the lake view outside hotel was good. however, requiring guests to move around the interior of hotel in their socks/bare feet was a bit "restrictive".

Great place to relax. The resort has a moderate size indoor onsen that’s well spaced. The outdoor onset was great with the picturesque setting. Not too crowded.

Enjoyable stay
The hotel is beautiful, environment is quiet and beautiful too. Food is of very good quality. My wife and I enjoyed a lot for the breakfast and dinner. The spa is excellent too, with jacuzzi and outdoor spa. We used the free transportation from New Chitose airport and to the Rera outlet mall....very convenient.
