Place is in a great location but once you go past the lobby its very dated. Small rooms and had lots of trouble getting in touch with the front desk when we needed something.

Oh, River Hotel, how do I hate you? Let me count the ways. It was very difficult to find the hotel. It's narrow and short squished between two buildings which are much bigger. Congress Plaza Hotel
For the price this place shouldn’t really exist anymore and the whole property redone. Food is also depressing level. If you come from London you will know.

Club Quarters Hotel, Central Loop, Chicago
Waited 10 minutes for someone to actually appear at front desk upon check in, and when they did arrive, only directed guests to kiosks to check in themselves. No welcome, no review of property or amenities, no ID check. Bed felt like it was 2 decades old at best, springs felt throughout and saggy. ...
